Exchange item only. This is the high speed spindle assembly without the drive housing. The drive housing contains the field windings and the drive lubrication system. A spindle only exchange is recomended when a drive with low revoutions is demonstrating problems with the imbalance detector, bent spindle shaft, or the hub is damaged.

Drives with high revolutions 15 to 20 billion or above should have the whole drive sent back for rebuild.
